Season 26: Showdown

When the world breaks, titans tear through the turmoil. 

Outplay the world in Apex Legends: Showdown. The new season launches with Legend buffs, Ranked changes, a re-energized RE-45, and a new permanent mode: Wildcard.

What's new in Apex Legends: Showdown?

New mode: Wildcard

Wildcard has faster gameplay, streamlined upgrades, explosive loot drops and last-minute comebacks. Stack your squad with up to 3 of the same Legend in a remixed Kings Canyon filled with gravity cannons, ziplines and towers.

Air quality warning

Caustic's gas traps now deal more damage and feature enhanced visuals, turning choke points into literal choke points. Bangalore’s smoke gets an offensive boost – it breaches doors, and can be upgraded with an EMP charge that shocks enemies and zaps traps.

The grind, refined

Ranked play gets an upgrade. Squads are assigned a POI drop zone, removing the Jumpmaster role to create more balanced, competitive openings. Loot and beacon placement have been updated to create a more even playing field across all drop zones.

Power spike incoming

Amps add new game-changing passives to help you survive your next showdown – bonus movement, better heals, more shields, and more. Find them in mid-to-late game loot bins. 
 
Hop-Ups are now built into weapons, unlocking through gameplay and upgrading your loadout as you fight.

RE-charged, RE-loaded, RE-45

The fully automatic RE-45 pistol has got a high-energy upgrade, courtesy of Ballistic’s private arsenal. This re-energized RE-45 is precision engineered to deliver three-round energy bursts so you can blast through Kings Canyon like a lightning strike.
